| My first entry since I got married. Amazing.
Happy birthdays, merry christmas, happy new year to everyone that I missed these past few months.
I am super aware of how much life has changed in only one year. Funny how I was actually looking forward to 2008.
I am again happy to see another year go by. It didn't get better, thats for sure. I think a lot of people are looking at 2009 as a transitional year, that 2010 is going to bring us a better economy with Obama and all, but for me personally I actually see 2008 as a transitional year. Not economically or anything like that, but personally. I got married as you all know, so maybe that has something to do with it. I complained a lot last year about how everything was so caustic, and eating me up alive. I have to say that 2008 was not any better, except for the fact that I did not allow the acid of the shitty day to day get inside of me. I am happier, calmer, more focused than I have ever been. My life is even more wobbly this year, and the world is all upside down, but I am ok.
I want 2009 to get better for the whole world, but if it turns out that 2009 is in fact a transitional year, that things will get worse before they get better, I am pretty sure I will be prepared for it. (don't quote me, I might have to edit this in a few months).

me: YES?! Dot?? whats up? what do you want?? hungry? bored? wanna play?? cmon.. lets play...
Dot: "Prrr"
me: AWW, what a cute cat.. what a great cat.. i love my cat.. you're the best.!! come here.. lemme get you a treat...
Sometimes i wonder if i found and adopted Dottie.. or if Dottie found and adopted me... =T
